45 Years and counting

Forty-five springs have come and gone since that night so long ago under the lights that had shone on many a football game. Many are the paths taken from that time and place and many the roads traveled.

Terrebonne High School has had a storied past and those of us who've walked those halls have added to the tapestry of it's history. We came from many small communities throughout the parish and each in turn came to that hub of education to prepare for life.

Those communities were named Bayou Blue, Bayou Cane, Bayou Black, Chacahoula, Donner, Gray and Gibson. It was from that small community of Gibson that this scribe came from. A small rural school at one time named Gibson Junior High but later re-titled Gibson Elementary. From that small community came a handful of people to Terrebonne High. Since there were no group pictures this collage was created to tell the tale of who they were.

This is a new blog and the setup is still in the construction phase.
